The Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Moves to One of Florida’s Largest Cities

For 2014, the prestigious Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show makes a new home in the city well known for its Latin style, Miami. The event will now be held at the Miami Airport Convention Center on Nov. 7-9 – just 13 miles from the center of Miami Beach.

Renamed to the Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, the show will cater to an array of antique jewelry enthusiasts in Miami, Coral Gables, Ft. Lauderdale and beyond. In addition, the new venue will accommodate a larger number of shoppers looking to get a start on their holiday spending.

The Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show presents more than 100 internationally recognized dealers and a fantastic variety of antique, vintage and estate jewelry and watches. On the show floor, collections from the Renaissance to Retro eras will be on display as well as signed pieces from elite brands like Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany & Co. and more. Items such as a pair of Bulgari 18k yellow gold, natural translucent green jade and diamond earrings from Camilla Dietz Bergeron, Ltd., Booth No. 1311 and a Victorian gold agate, diamond and black enamel locket from Levy’s Fine Jewelry, Inc., Booth No. 1216 are representative of the types of items attendees will see at the show this November.

This year, the show will also be hosting the South Florida GIA Alumni Association and AGS Guild of South Florida’s educational session titled, “The 10 Jewelry Trends That You Need to Know Now & Why.” Speaker Jennifer Heebner, senior editor of JCK Magazine, will highlight the hottest looks now in new jewelry styles as well as trends happening at the intersection of the runway fashions and jewelry. The session will be held Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. and is open to all GIA alumni as well as members of the AGS Guild.
