Jewelry community gathers at Trading Day and 5th Annual Mega Mixer in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA
 – The Diamond Club West Coast, in collaboration with several other organizations, brought together hundreds of industry professionals for a vibrant day of business, networking, and celebration at Trading Day and the 5th Annual Mega Mixer Summer Soiree in downtown Los Angeles.

The daytime Trading Day event welcomed over 300 retailers, suppliers, and buyers from California as well as New York and other states, who connected with 35 exhibiting vendors showcasing diamonds, gemstones, contemporary and vintage jewelry, watches, and industry services. Attendees enjoyed exclusive deals, fresh inventory, and the opportunity to conduct business face-to-face in a local setting. Complimentary coffee was sponsored by Jewelers of America.

In the evening, more than 250 guests gathered at Casa Ipanema for the 5th Annual Mega Mixer Summer Soiree. Hosted by seven respected trade organizations, the mixer highlighted the strength and collaboration of the Los Angeles jewelry community. Lively conversations, new introductions, and the celebratory atmosphere underscored the value of uniting the industry across different sectors. The Mega Mixer was sponsored by Krainz Creations.

Together, the two events emphasized the power of community and the importance of creating spaces for both business and celebration.

“Trading Day was the perfect opportunity to not only discover new inventory but to strengthen relationships with trusted partners. There’s nothing like connecting in person with peers who understand the challenges and opportunities of our industry,” said Amit Varma, The Verma Group, a vendor at Trading Day who plans to participate in future events.

“The Mega Mixer continues to be one of the most anticipated events of the year. It’s a place where jewelers from every corner of the industry come together to celebrate, share ideas, and build lasting connections,” added Cheryl Freund, WJA Los Angeles Co-President.

The warmth of the LA Jewelry community reminded me that jewelry is never just about the gems, it is about the people and the stories,” said Yarden Davis of YD Gallery, who flew from New York to attend both events.
