The 21st Annual Hurriclave, hosted by Polygon and co-hosted by Hess Fine Art, took place at the Hilton Carillon Park in St. Petersburg, Florida, bringing together attendees from across the jewelry industry. This year’s event featured retail jewelers, estate and watch dealers, and wholesalers gathering for two days of trading, education, and community.

The 2025 program introduced a refreshed schedule designed to maximize both business and networking opportunities. Highlights included:

Brunch & Welcome Remarks – The event opened with a warm welcome from Polygon’s Managing Director, Sean Lemire, who shared exciting news of the company’s recent acquisition by Valsoft.

Attendees were also treated to an exclusive first look at the upcoming Marketplace redesign—marking the beginning of a bold new chapter for Polygon. These updates reflect strong momentum in our ongoing mission to deliver cutting-edge technology and a more seamless, engaging user experience for the industry we proudly serve.

Roundtable Discussions – Jeff and Katrina Hess led the group in an engaging and timely session on the impact of tariffs on jewelry business owners, especially in the categories of Swiss watches and diamonds from India. Some highlighted the benefit of continuing to source and deal in estate goods already in the US, though others felt that this would be possible only in certain categories and circumstances.

Early VIP Trading – VIP attendees had a bonus exclusive access to do business ahead of the main trading on Sunday.

Dinner Event – An evening of networking and camaraderie among peers.

Full Day of Trading – Sunday featured a dynamic trading floor where deals were made and new business relationships formed. Attendees bought and sold estate goods, loose diamonds, watches, colored stones and more. This was a great opportunity to move goods and buy at great prices. A few attendees noted this was one of their best events in terms of sales.

“We were excited to see members and others from the industry come together for business and networking at this year’s Hurriclave,” said Sean Lemire, General Director at Polygon. “After 21 years, the event continues to be a unique space where jewelers share, sell, buy and build relationships. Under Valsoft, Polygon looks forward to expanding opportunities for our members and the wider trade community.”
