What package is right for my business?

“Poly Light” is open to any qualified business in the gem & jewelry trade who is looking to benefit from Polygon as a buying and marketing tool. Members can include appraisers, service providers, designers, labs, trade associations, online retailers, cutters, refiners and others.

How is business conducted on Polygon?

All business on Polygon is conducted directly between the members. There is no buying or selling directly on the site, and it is up to each party in a transaction to set the terms of the transaction (payment terms, type, shipping, etc). Polygon does not get directly involved in any transactions, nor do we take any commission or fee on business conducted between members.

Who can become a member of Polygon?

Polygon is not open to members of the general public (consumers), but reserved strictly for qualified professionals in the jewelry industry. Membership is granted to business entities, and not to individuals. All new members must pass a vetting process and be approved by Polygon. Members include retail jewelers, bench jewelers, diamond & gemstone dealers, siteholders, jewelry manufacturers and wholesalers, watch dealers, pawn brokers, appraisers, refiners, estate jewelry specialists and other businesses in the trade.

How do I become a member of Polygon?

All new members must pass an application and vetting process. New applicants can apply online (www.polygon.net) or contact Polygon directly. Generally speaking, applicants and new members will be put in touch with a member of our team to discuss the access levels and options that best fit their business, and to go through membership details and benefits. Upon request, applicants will need to provide information and documents pertaining to their business such as the business legal name (and DBA, if applicable), full contact details, verifiable references, government issued documentation showing the current and legal registration of the business where they are currently operating, and sufficient proof – to Polygon’s satisfaction – that the business is operating in the gem & jewelry business and is in good standing.
