Polygon Acquired By Mediagrif Interactive Technologies — JV's IA 9/04
Twenty-nine years ago next month I founded Polygon Corporation. Twenty years ago this spring the Polygon Network went live. And over many years, Polygon grew to become the premier on-line e-business marketplace for the jewelry industry. Today, Polygon begins a new, exciting chapter. Today, Polygon (or rather "PolyGroup, Ltd.," the parent) was acquired by Mediagrif Interactive Technologies, a public company based in Montreal, Canada.
We've known for years that one day this was likely to happen. As a small, independent company, Polygon has faced numerous competitive, technological, and customer service challenges. (No wisecracks, please, Zoomer!) Yet we've persevered, largely fought off the competitors, and-in recent years-grown steadily in membership and profitability.
By becoming a Mediagrif company, we join one of the most innovative and successful enterprises specializing in e-business marketplaces anywhere in the world. Polygon is no longer small and independent. We are now part of a technological power-house, and are now positioned to add new services rapidly (no wisecracks, please, Zoomer), expand internationally on a solid technology infrastructure, and continue our mission statement of delivering the safest, most active, and most profitable trading environment for our members.

The same sales, marketing, and customer service staff you've come to know (and sometimes love) over the years continues. Stephanie, Teri, Lynn, Alex, Becky and the rest of the gang are looking forward to continuing to serve you. And of course you will still, very much, have -jv to kick around as much as you want. : )
