Brad Huisken's experience and knowledge in sales & sales management have enabled him to author the highly acclaimed books I'm a Salesman! Not a Ph.D., Munchies For Salespeople! Selling Tips You Can Sink Your Teeth Into, and his new book Munchies For Salespeople II, More Selling Tips You Can Sink Your Teeth Into! He has also developed several courses, kits and handbooks for business and sales professionals, including "PMSA Relationship Selling Program", "Train The Sales Trainer Course", "Professional Sales Management Course", "Certified Jewelry Sales Professional", and several others.

Brad also contributes a weekly blog for JCK Online, and has been published in JCK Magazine, Instore Magazine, World Diamond Mark Magazine, Jewellery Business Magazine, as well as on IDEX, JNET and Stuller. He contributes a monthly column to The Midwest Jewelry News and The Southern Jewelry News.

For more than twenty-two years he has been hosting sales and management seminars across the world. His speaking resume includes seminars, numerous IJO & RJO Shows, JCK Las Vegas, Orlando & Toronto, The Atlanta Jewelry Show, The Columbus Jewelry Show, the Midwest Jewelry Expo, In-Store, JA New York, numerous JA state organizations, IJL London, JCK AIM 2008 in Mumbai, numerous CBG (Continental Buying Group) Shows, and others.

IAS Training delivers public and private seminars and specialized in in-house consulting and training in sales and management. Brad works with both large and small companies installing sales management systems and training teams.

Jeff Hess is a long-time Polygon member, noted author and speaker, as well as an 18-year member on the NAWCC boards.

With expertise in diamonds, colored stones, signed jewelry and watches, Jeffrey Hess brings an extremely informative presentation about buying over the counter with a focus on lost opportunities.

Buying right is an important skill to have in our trade, but most members in the industry are already pretty comfortable when it comes to diamonds & jewelry. The problem is, they rarely step outside of that comfort zone, and the result is waving away otherwise profitable and rare items.

This presentation will instead focus on the not so usual goods: from fine & decorative arts, to Militaria, art glass, and a plethora of other things most just chalk up to being "knick-nacks".

Mr. Hess will highlight the benefits of buying OTC goods that find themselves outside of the typical categories business owners have grown comfortable dealing in. Venture into the unknown with Mr. Hess and stop missing out on opportunities passing right under your very nose!
