This tab allows you to change your Messaging Preferences, Favorites, and Filters.
Use the Messaging Preferences section to change default settings for:
Results per page. To change this preference, choose the desired Results per Page value and click the Update button to save your change. By default this preference is set to 25, which will return messages in groups of 25.
Timeframe. To change this preference, choose the desired Timeframe value and click the Update button to save your change. This value defines how far back you want to go when you read messages. By default this preference is set to Latest, which will return the messages posted since the last time you viewed the channel.
Email Notification for incoming Direct Messages (DM). To receive a message an external email notification when you receive a new DM, enter a valid email address in the External Notification box and click on the Update button to save your change.
Change the default view selection. To change the default view that opens up when you select a message tab from Summary to Full Message, or vice versa, click the box next to your selection and click the Update button to save your change.
Multiple Pop Ups selection. If you set this Preference to Yes you will be allowed to have as many Pop Up windows open at a time as you want. The Pop Up windows include Writing a Message, Replying to a Message, and Viewing an image attachment.
Use the Favorites section to:
Select your favorite channels. To set up your Favorites for Wanted, For Sale, Discussion and Association, check the boxes next to your selections for each of the channel groups presented. Finally, click the Update button to save your changes.
Favorite Channels regroup the different channels that will be opened by default when you enter the Wanted, For Sale, Discussion, or Association tabs of the Message Center.
Association channels are private in nature. Therefore, the list of channels available to be selected within the Association Channel group will depend on the access rights you have been given against these channels. If you are not involved with any of these channels, this list will be empty.
Use the Filters section to:
Create a Filter. You can create filters to prevent you from seeing the messages for given members. To do so, choose the channel group and the member whose messages you want to filter out, and click on the Create button to save your new filter. Repeat this process for all the members whose messages you want to filter out.
Creating a Reverse Filter. You can create reverse filters to prevent given members from seeing your messages. To do so, choose the channel group and the member that you want to conceal your messages from, and click the Create button to save your new reverse filter. Again, repeat this process for all the members you want to conceal your messages from. The Reverse Filter is only available on the Wanted and For Sale channels.
