Polygon, the jewelry industry's largest e-marketplace in cooperation with several of the major industry associations has created an on-line "Pavilion" concept in which to showcase jewelry and loose diamonds. Only product from registered suppliers of the association may be shown in the appropriate Pavilion. Only members of the association have access to products within the Pavilion. The "Pavilion" concepts allows merchandise to be seen 24/7 by it's members. A retailer no longer needs to wait to see new product at a tradeshow or for the sales person to make a personal visit, they now have access to the participating supplier's merchandise on an ongoing basis 365 days a year.
Currently Polygon is operating the AGS and RJO On-Line Pavilions. There are many more Pavilions planned for the upcoming year including Country Pavilions where retailers will have the ability to search merchandise from a specific Country.
