Opened for business in 1984, Polygon is the world leader in online marketing and distribution systems for gem & jewelry trading.
Headquartered in Dillon, Colorado, the Polygon Network (our flagship service) is a business-to-business (B2B) trading community for professionals in the gem and jewelry industry worldwide. Members include manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, dealers, jewelers and more. This service facilitates millions of dollars a day in gem and jewelry transactions.
Polygon does not hold inventory, nor buy, sell, trade or broker any goods. Rather, Polygon provides the technology for online marketing and sourcing services to its members. Fees on Polygon are membership-based rather than transactional.
Polygon History
Polygon was launched in 1984. In 2004 Polygon was acquired by Mediagrif Interactive Technologies, a public company specializing in online marketplaces, based in Montreal, Canada (TSX:MDF). Polygon DMCC was created in 2006, a joint venture between Mediagrif and the Government of Dubai’s DMCC financial services unit. Polygon DMCC markets Polygon throughout Asia, Africa, and in other emerging markets.

Polygon Products & Services
The Polygon Network includes four searchable product databases where professional sellers and industry suppliers list their inventories of diamonds, jewelry, colored stones and watches. The diamond database is the largest online inventory of polished diamonds in the world, currently containing over US$3 billion in loose stones. However, most of the trading on Polygon occurs on the buy/sell channels, where members list their minute-to-minute buying/selling needs, and other members contact them directly.
